1.5 Million People Program: Poor Families Benefit from Royal Government's Vocational Training with Skills and Allowances

Phnom Penh, 12 July 2024: Participants from disadvantaged families enrolled in the "Vocational and Technical Training Program" have expressed their gratitude and encouragement for this free training initiative, recommending it to other citizens.

Loh Chanbopha, a beverage expert at the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, highlighted the program's benefits, noting that it not only provided her with valuable knowledge but also included a grant of 280,000 riels for those holding poor and equity cards.

Sao Srey Pov, a cosmetic trainer at the same institute, shared similar sentiments, mentioning that the institute offers accommodation for students from provinces who lack housing, a benefit not available at some other institutions.

Yem Srey Touch, a trainee in make-up, also praised the program, appreciating the professional trainers and ample practical equipment provided by the institute.

Additionally, O Thida, a baking skills trainee, encouraged students who cannot afford paid schools to consider studying at the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, emphasizing the variety of skills training available that align with students' interests and career goals.
